1.0                                          INTRODUCTION
1.1                            BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Disco became a huge deal in the 1970s and way back then most of the lighting available was bulb-based. Disco lighting is a variant of stage lighting that is used by mobile DJs and in nightclubs. DJ lighting is generally used by mobile disco DJs and in most modern nightclubs and many late-night bars.
DJ lighting can be controlled by an internal sound activation, where the unit has a built-in sound to light function.
Disco Party Lights are excellent for any celebration, easy to use and powerful lighting that provides long-lasting great performance. Professional DJs and many other entertainers use our lighting fixtures to greatly elevate their performances and further engage their audiences. The biggest range of party lights on today's market, with systems such as UV Light Bars, moving head lights and much more.
Most of disco light range includes a handy remote control for operating your lighting at a moment's notice. One of the best ways to get the most from your lighting fixtures is to couple them with effect machines. This work is aimed at building an audio controlled disco light circuit.

1.2                                    AIM AND OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
The aim of this study is to build an audio-controlled disco light controller circuit. The objectives of the study are:

This electronic circuit design is very common in disco houses, bars, parties house parties, professional DJ performances.

1.6                                 SCOPE OF THE STUDY
This project covers building a sound controlled disco lights circuit using active and passive components such as fixed resistor, variable resistor, silicon control regulator etc. A standard audio power amplifier output that drives loudspeaker also drive this disco light circuit.
